Crescent City Christian School
Crescent City Christian School has broken the longstanding agreement in place between the school and Skobel’s School Uniforms. As such, we are no longer selling any items for the school.
As a Christian, honoring and abiding by the terms of a contract is not just a legal obligation but also a reflection of the biblical principles of integrity, honesty, and faithfulness. The Bible teaches us in Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 (NIV), "When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it."
This passage underscores the importance of keeping one's word and honoring commitments. When we enter into a contract, we are essentially making a commitment.
In the New Testament, Matthew 5:37 (NIV) further reinforces the principle of keeping one's word: "All you need to say is simply 'Yes' or 'No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one." This verse encourages us to be straightforward and truthful in our dealings, emphasizing the simplicity and integrity of our words.
Therefore, as Christians, we are called to approach contracts and agreements with a sincere heart, upholding the values of trust, honesty, and faithfulness. By doing so, we not only fulfill our legal obligations but also live out our commitment to the biblical teachings that guide our lives.
We continue to hold the students and families of CCCS in our hearts.
